Overload

Privacy Policy

Effective August 28, 2026. This policy covers the Overload website (overloadlift.com) and the Overload iOS app. The short version: your training data belongs to you, we collect only what the app needs to work, we don’t sell data or run ads, and you can delete everything at any time.

Data we collect

Account: if you create an account, your email address (and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the name and email their consent screen shares). Used only to sign you in and send login codes or password resets — never for marketing.

Profile: what you enter during setup — age, experience level, bodyweight, height, training goals, equipment, and optionally your gender, display name, and one-rep maxes. Used to personalize your workouts.

Training data: the workouts you log — exercises, sets, reps, weights, notes, personal records, templates, flags, and saved tips. This is the product; it exists so you can see your progress.

Cycle tracking (optional health data): see the dedicated section below. Off unless you explicitly turn it on.

Guest mode: your data stays on your device

You can use Overload without an account. In guest mode everything above is stored only in your browser or on your phone — nothing is sent to our servers, and we can’t see it. Clearing the app’s storage (or deleting the app) erases it.

With an account: where your data lives

Signing in syncs your data so it follows you across devices. It’s stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, protected so that only your authenticated account can read or write your rows. We don’t share it with anyone else, and no human routinely looks at it.

Cycle tracking

Overload includes optional menstrual-cycle tracking. It is strictly opt-in: nothing is collected until you explicitly enable it, and every cycle feature is invisible unless you do. If enabled, the dates you log are used for one purpose only — softening training suggestions and showing you your own insights during harder phases.

Cycle data is never sold, never shared with third parties, never used for advertising, and never leaves the same protected storage as the rest of your training data. You can turn cycle tracking off and permanently delete all cycle data at any time with one action in Profile, independent of the rest of your account.

Analytics

The website uses Vercel Web Analytics — anonymous, aggregate page counts with no cookies and no individual profiles. The iOS app contains no analytics at all. We use no advertising SDKs and no cross-app tracking anywhere.

Deleting your data

In Profile you can delete your account from inside the app. This permanently removes your account and everything synced to it — profile, workout history, progress, and any cycle data — and cannot be undone. Guest data is deleted by clearing the app’s storage or removing the app.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell or rent your data. We don’t show ads. We don’t send marketing email. We only disclose data if the law genuinely requires it.

Children

Overload is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
